Letter S

For letter S we talked about snow & snowmen. We read the Snowman at Night book. Then they got to pick a hat and a scarf to put on the snowman (pictured above). Then we made a picture of Santa Clause and put cotton balls on for his beard and on his hat. For a snack we had smiley face fruit snacks.

Letter R

Each day they have been drawing pictures of what they are thankful for. This day they were thankful for their Grandparents and drew pictures of themselves with their Grandparent(s).
Chase drew himself with Grandma Donna.
Reagan (who sat in while Tate was gone) drew Grandma Laura and Reagan.
Carson drew his family with his Grandpa Ulrich and Grandma Olsen.
Cooper drew him with his Grandma &Grandpa in the hamick

Day #1
September 14, 2010

Today was our 1st day and it was a great one! Here are the pictures of all the kids.
We learned about the letter A, A is for Apple, the color red and the number 5. They used apples as stamps to make a picture. They all loved helping out with The 5 Little Apples story. They also got to go on a scavenger hunt for toys that were red. They had to find 5 red toys and put them in a lunch sack. Then bring them back to the table and share with everyone what they found and what we see everyday in the world. It was a great day and we had lots of fun!
(As the teacher I apologize for putting the wrong date on the whiteboard for their 1st day pictures...:o(sorry.)
